Apostle Islands - April 2010

Well, we just returned from a short trip to the Apostle Islands. The original plan was to get out and explore the sea caves on Devil's Island. We had planned 3 easy days of paddling with one weather day.

Well... after a little navigational hiccup we ended up paddling a little more than planned, and in the end , knocked the trip out in only two days. We probably would have stayed a little longer to explore had it not been as cold as it was. Two days was just about right when dealing with wet and frozen neoprene. I think it's probably time to get a drysuit.
